SUPER VISA FOR PARENTS/ GRANDPARENTS

The Super Visa is a special type of visa designed for parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens or permanent residents. The Super Visa allows eligible parents and grandparents to obtain a multiple-entry Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) for up to 10 years, with an initial authorized stay of up to five years. • Satisfactory evidence of private medical insurance from a Canadian insurance company, covering health care, hospitalization, and repatriation, with a minimum coverage of$100,000.
• A letter of invitation from the host child or grandchild, promising financial support for the entire duration of the stay in Canada.
• Evidence of the child or grandchild's means of providing financial support, meeting the low-income cut-off (LICO) minimum.

Documentary Requirements:
Copy of the child or grandchild's notice of assessment or T4/T1 tax forms.
Letter from the child or grandchild's employer stating job details, salary, etc.
Employment insurance pay stubs.
Letter from an accountant confirming annual income if self-employed.
Proof of other sources of income such as pension statements or investments.
